Carolyn Sue Beck (Jones-Higgins) 87, passed away on February 28, 2023, in Sarasota, Florida.
She leaves behind 4 daughters and their families; Kathryn (Michael) Cassel and daughters, Paige, Kate, and Emily, Jennifer (David) Sheese and sons, Greg Clark, John Clark, and Bill Clark, 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, Shelly (Tim) Gillespie, sons Carson and Parker, daughters Jadyn, and Stephanie Beck, and daughters, Miley McDonald, Savanna McDonald, and Piper McDonald.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Jones and Eva Marie (Williams) Jones, daughter, Maria Kathleen, brothers Marvin, Donald, and Keith, sisters, LaVerne, Joan, and Connie.
Carolyn loved the outdoors, she enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, and working in her flower gardens.
Services for Carolyn will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023, at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard in Bloomington. Burial will follow the services at Clear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at The Funeral Chapel and on Friday from Noon until service time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Carolyn’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project.
