ODON – The Daviess County United Way has announced that the Day of Caring 2023, scheduled for May 4, is still looking for business sponsors, participants, and projects from non-profits.
Individuals or organizations interested in participating in the event, which benefits the Odon area and surrounding communities, are encouraged to contact the Odon Town Hall before the end of the month.
This is a great opportunity for businesses and individuals to make a positive impact on their community while also promoting their brand.
Businesses will donate work hours from their employees to canvass the county and take care of projects for the organizations that United Way helps.
If you would like to volunteer, contact the United Way office or visit their website for more details.
Sponsorship for Day of Caring is still needed to help with the breakfast and lunch for the workers that day, to help contact the United Way office at 812-254-1038.
Last year, 700 volunteers serving in two cities within Daviess County totaled more than $103,000 worth of volunteer labor hours.
