ROI’s Annual Report to the region is returning on April 13

 FRENCH LICK – ROI’s Annual Report to the Region is returning after a COVID hiatus.

Whether you are an employer, educator, community leader, economic development organization, workforce development professional, nonprofit, or just curious about the Indiana Uplands, join officials on April 13 at French Lick Resort Conference Center

Together they will celebrate the hard work, innovation, and collaboration that is moving the Indiana Uplands, our Region on the Rise, toward a more prosperous future.

Registration and check-in are from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.

Arrive early to interact with students from the Uplands Student-Run Business Network.

On the agenda:

  • 9:00 a.m. – ROI Annual Report to the Region
  • 11:15 a.m. – Breakout Sessions
  • 12:30 p.m. – Lunch, Keynote, & Regional Innovation Awards
  • 2:15 p.m. – Breakout Sessions
  • 3:15 p.m. – Cocktail and Mocktail Reception

Now through March 16, ROI is accepting nominations for the 2023 Indiana Uplands Regional Innovation Awards.

The awards recognize meaningful improvements to education, economic development, and/or quality of place within the 11 counties of the Indiana Uplands region. These awards will highlight the amazing people and organizations working to make the Indiana Uplands a terrific place to work, live, learn, and play!

Any member of the public may nominate an individual, organization, or effort for one or more of the award categories:

  • Becky Skillman Regional Leadership Award 
  • Collaboration Award 
  • Diversity Innovation Award
  • Employer Innovation Award
  • Quality of Place Innovation Award 
  • Quality of Place Attraction Award
  • STEM Innovation Award 
  • Talent Innovation Award
