Michael A. “Chigger” Dalton, 48, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at his residence.
He was born in Bedford on September 8, 1974, to Harry “Gene” Dalton and Alice “Lois” (Bell) Dalton. Michael attended BNL High School, he was a welder at Stone City Ironworks in Bedford. Michael loved racing and fishing, He was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his siblings, Teresa Dalton of Leesville, Christie Crider of Tennessee, Steve (Cindi) Dalton of Bedford, and Jim (Beth) Guthrie of Mitchell, two uncles, Kenny Dalton and Jack Dalton, several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews, good friend, Terry Collins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry “Gene” Dalton and Alice “Lois” Dalton, one brother, Bobby Dalton, and one niece, Ashley Dalton.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Momentum Church, 1403 R Street in Bedford, with Pastor Reno Bates, officiating. The family will receive friends from Noon until service time at 2 p.m. at the church on Saturday.
