Cheryl A. Bobbs, 66, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 5:20 a.m. at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
She was born in Oak Park, Illinois on January 8, 1957, to Howard and Nettie (Burke) Steck. Cheryl married Thomas Bobbs on March 14, 1987, and he survives. Cheryl was a homemaker, but her heart was in fostering children, she fostered more than 70 kids. In 2008 she was honored as Bedford’s Woman of the Year.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas E. Bobbs of Bedford, her children, Zane Bobbs, Keeley Bobbs, and Thomas Howard “TJ” Bobbs, and four grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
