MARTIN CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 450 near Dover Hill.
Beginning on or around Monday, April 3, crews will close State Road 450 over Opossum Creek near Dover Hill. The closure will allow crews to perform a bridge reconstruction. During the closure crews will remove the current bridge on SR 450. Following removal, the elevation of the road will be raised and a new bridge will be constructed at that height. Work is expected to last through the beginning of October, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this project is US 150 to US 50 to State Road 158. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
