Scott R. Prince, 58, of Bedford, passed away on March 15, 2023, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born on February 4, 1965, he was the son of Jim and Carolyn (Beavers) Prince. Scott had worked for Indiana Limestone, the Times-Mail, and the Herald Times. He was a former member of the Eagles and the American Legion. He enjoyed mushroom hunting and fishing, and he played football for the BNL Stars.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Scott are his girlfriend, Cheryl Kilpela; five aunts, Iva White, Clara Hiatt, Sharon Pierce, Pat Brown, and Mary Oliver; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his loyal companion, Princess.
Scott is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jamie Prince; several aunts and uncles; and his dog, Goofy.
Cremation was chosen with no services at this time.
The Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with his care.
