ORLEANS – Tessa Price’s art featuring the corner of Maple and Jefferson Streets in Orleans was chosen to represent the 2023 Dogwood Theme: “Historic Orleans: My Hometown”.
Tessa is a junior at Orleans High School and is in the Advanced Art Class taught by Dr. Leah Morgan. One of their assignments for this year was to create a work of art featuring the word, Orleans, and depict it somehow.
Tessa chose a scene from the historic corner on Main Street from a few years ago.
“Congratulations to Tessa for having her artwork chosen to represent the 2023 Dogwood Festival Theme! She is a very talented Orleans High School student,” said Leah H. Morgan of Orleans Community Schools.
