Ronald D. Cummings, 76, of Avon, formerly of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at his residence.
Born December 11, 1946, in Bedford, he was the son of Harold and Violet (Stevens) Cummings. He married Sherry Anderson on January 10, 1970, and she survives. He retired from Rainbow Printing as a truck driver and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Englewood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry, of Avon; a daughter, Heather Wade and husband, Daren, of Avon; a grandson, Liam Wade; a brother, Bruce Cummings, and wife, Teresa, of Bedford; nieces, Anna and Laura Cummings; a brother, Mike Cummings, and wife, Courtney, of Plainfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his father, and his mother-in-law, Wayne and Viola Anderson.
Private graveside services will be conducted at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with military rites accorded by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion.
