Melody K. Cline, 58, of Bedford, passed away at 6:36 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at IU Health
Bedford Hospital.
Born August 11, 1964, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Clinton Covey and Mary K. (Lewis) McAfee. She had been a Certified Nurse’s Assistant since 1993 and was currently employed at White River Lodge. She was a veteran of the US Air Force and the US Army.
Survivors include a son, Jonathan Cline; a sister, Linda George; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, her father, and a nephew, Christopher George.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Duane Terry officiating. Military rites will be accorded by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion. Visitation will be from Noon until the hour of service on Thursday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
