SCOTT CO. — Louisville & Indiana Railroad plans to close the S.R 56 railroad crossing between Elm Street and Railroad Street in Scottsburg for repairs starting the morning of Tuesday, April 4. The crossing is expected to reopen on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 5.
Traffic will be routed along the official detour, which follows S.R. 3 to S.R. 356 to U.S. 31, and back to S.R. 56. Access to local business will be maintained.
