INDIANAPOLIS – Governor Eric J. Holcomb today announced Bridget Foust as his appointment to the Grant County Superior Court #2 and Bradley Bergquist as his appointment to the Batesville City Court. Foust will succeed the Honorable Dana J. Kenworthy who was appointed to the Court of Appeals Dec. 21, 2023. Bergquist will succeed John L. Kellerman who resigned to take another position.
Bridget Foust has her own law firm where she handles paternity, adoptions, Child in Need of Services cases, guardianship, protective orders and personal injury. She is also a part-time public defender in Wabash and Grant Counties. Since 2015, she has served as a Guardian Ad Litem in Grant County and plays a significant role in the county’s Family Recovery Court. Following law school, Foust worked as a deputy prosecutor in Allen County before joining the Grant County Prosecutor’s office in 2014.
Foust received a bachelor of science from Purdue University North Central and a law degree from Valparaiso Law School.
Bergquist is a practicing attorney with the Wilson Law Firm in Batesville. He focuses on assisting in the representation of community members, local businesses, school corporations, and the City of Batesville. He is a member of the Batesville Utility Service Board.
Bergquist received a bachelor of science from Indiana University and a law degree from Maurer School of Law.
Foust and Bergquist will be sworn in on a date to be determined.
