JUDAH – On Friday, March 31st, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputy Riley Hitchcock conducted a targeted patrol of the intersection at State Road 37 and Old State RoadR37 in Judah in response to many citizen complaints as well as crashes at the intersection.
In just three hours, Officer Hitchcock conducted 15 traffic stops. He stopped drivers who disregarded the red automatic signal. Appropriate enforcement action was taken against each driver.
Sheriff Greg Day asks motorists please slow down, exercise some patience, and make good driving decisions. No life is worth a couple of minutes.
