ORLEANS – Wednesday, April 26th is “Gospel Night in the Park” at the Orleans Dogwood Festival.
The free concert begins at 6 p.m. on the downtown Main Stage.
In 2019 two gospel groups, The Breeding Family and Heavenly Treasures, came together to form another gospel group called Worth the Journey. From Southern Gospel to Bluegrass, to Contemporary, Worth the Journey enjoys singing a variety of gospel music and loves playing their instruments for the Lord.
David Napper (acoustic guitar) & his brother Mike Napper (drums) grew up playing and singing gospel music with Heavenly Treasures and have raised their children to do the same. Micah Napper (bass) and Mason Napper (lead and acoustic guitars) are the sons of Mike and have been playing their instruments for several years now.
Amy Breeding (piano & vocals) & Hannah Breeding (mandolin & vocals) grew up singing and playing their instruments in church and traveled with their family’s group The Breeding Family for close to 20 years singing southern gospel music.
They pray their music touches the hearts and lives of those who hear it and that God uses them for His glory and to help someone learn about Him.
Seating is limited, so those attending will want to bring their own lawn chairs.
