MITCHELL – A Mitchell man was arrested on March 31, at 3:44 p.m. after Mitchell Police Officer Michael Bargo stopped a man walking on South 5th Street.
The man 47-year-old Aaron Terrell was wanted on an active warrant in Washington County.
The officer stopped Terrell and he was detained. Terrell attempted to hide something in his waistband while being detained. In Terrell’s hoodie pocket police found a used syringe. While walking to the police car, a small baggie that contained crystal meth fell from Terrell’s pant leg.
Terrell was arrested on charges of possession of meth with enhanced circumstances and unlawful possession of a syringe.
