GALENA – Bedford North Lawrence finished eighth in the 18-team field during the Floyd Central Invitational on Saturday at Valley View.
The Stars, paced by Jett Jones with a 79, posted a team total of 340. Evansville North won the title with 313, followed by Castle (316) and Columbus North (317).
Jones finished tied for eighth overall among the individuals. Houston Corbin carded 84, Tyler Bellush totaled 88, and Colton Staggs capped the scoring for the Stars with 89.
Providence’s Blaine Beckort was the medalist with a two-under 70, while Castle’s Brayden Lambourne was second with even-par 72.
BNL will return to action in the Washington Invitational on April 15.
