Joyce Ann King, 73, of Bedford, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born June 6, 1949, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Elmer and Livie Alice (Whalin) Nash.
Joyce enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, thrifting, and landscaping, and loved her koi fish. She was a fun-loving jokester and had a strong Christian faith. Joyce loved babysitting her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Donald Lee (J.J.) Goldsberry of Mitchell and Angela Marie (Tim) Vaal of St. Meinard; grandchildren, Chelsea Johnson, Mason Summers, Caitlin Nicely, Hannah Courtright, and Caedon Goldsberry; and three great-grandchildren.
Her parents; daughter, Paula Renay Canfield; and siblings, Delbert Nash, Roger Nash, Jerry Nash, Floyd Nash, Lorraine Clifton, Dorothy Clem, Gladys Fulton, and Norma Marcum, preceded her in death.
A celebration of life will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13th, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Mark Thompson officiating. Cremation was chosen. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
