BEDFORD – A Shoals man faces a charge of theft and fraud after Bedford Police officers responded to an incident on October 14, 2022.
On that day 29-year-old Dylan Bruner opened an account at the bank. He submitted a mobile deposit of $2,000, which was marked as fraudulent after Bruner withdrew the funds. He then attempted to make a second mobile deposit in the amount of $2,000Â but the bank stopped the check before it was deposited.Â
A video was obtained showing Bruner making a $500 withdrawal at the ATM at their Dubois branch. Â
The information was forwarded to the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office and a warrant was issued for Bruner’s arrest on charges of fraud and theft.
