Teen rebels against disciplinary actions, injures adult, and is arrested

BEDFORD – A teen was arrested Saturday, April 15th after a Bedford Police officer responded to 637 Riley Boulevard at 7:20 p.m. after a report of a 14-year-old female teen being incorrigible.

When police arrived at the apartment they were told the female had skipped school and was destroying the apartment. The girl was grounded and they had taken her phone away from her. The girl refused to give the adult the phone and there was a struggle. The adult female suffered a laceration to her hand during the struggle. The teen also slammed a metal walker against the walls several times. During the struggle.

Police found the teen sitting in the grass near the driveway.

The adult signed a battery affidavit. The female was transported to the Bedford Police Department and juvenile probation was alerted. The teen was released on a promise to appear in court on charges of habitual disobedience and domestic battery.
