BEDFORD – Teens and parents of teens, you don’t want to miss out on this amazing opportunity to learn and discuss parenting in the teenage years.
Generation Z is the most empowered, most entitled, and most anxious generation in American History. It is true that our lives will always move in the direction of our strongest thoughts. What we think determines how we feel and behave. Join us as we think about what we think about and walk away equipped with tools to help you navigate this life.
Students, join Claudia Mitchell (teacher, counselor, author), youth ministers, trained student facilitators, and other Gen Z students as we discuss anxiety and depression and teach you tools to help navigate your life and/or the lives of your friends.
Parents, join Angie Gummerie (nurse, parent, high school small group leader) and Cathy Lehman (pediatric speech pathologist, parent, women’s small group leader) to talk about parenting Generation Z.
This FREE retreat is on Sunday, April 23rd from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church at 508 Fellowship Drive in Bedford. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
