NASHVILLE – Bedford North Lawrence won five events while claiming the boys team title during the Talon Relays at Brown County on Saturday.
The Stars totaled 139 points to top the seven-team field. Greensburg was second with 110.
In the girls meet, BNL was third with 123 points. Columbus North won the team crown with 140, while Heritage Christian scored 131 points.
BNL’s winners in the boys meet included Hiram Mullis (16.74 in the 110-meter high hurdles), Brayden Patterson (6-0) and Maddex McFarland (19-0).
The Stars also won the throwers relay (Tyson Patterson, Orion Hill, Carter Kimmel and Jimmy Farmer in 50.64) and the shuttle hurdle relay (Mullis, Reece Sims, Jayden Duke and Cameron Miller in 42.30).
BNL’s Ellie Anderson won the long jump at 15-0 in the girls meet.
The Stars will compete in the Seymour Invitational on Tuesday.
