BEDFORD – The North Lawrence Community Schools board will host a special meeting on Thursday, May 4 to vote on the employment of Kevin Yancey as the district’s new superintendent.
The board will also vote on the employment of Steve Underwood to serve as assistant superintendent for NLCS. Underwood has served in the role of assistant superintendent since February.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be hosted at the North Lawrence Community Schools Administration Building, 460 W St., in Bedford.
The board will host an executive session immediately following the meeting.
