Betty Jean True, 99, of Bloomington, formerly of Bedford, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023.
Born March 11, 1924, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Stephanie (DeSimon) Mascio. She married Donald True on December 20, 1947, and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2015. She was a beautician working in her own beauty shop and attended First United Methodist Church.
Surviving is a grandson, Nathanael Hinshaw (Brooke), of Bloomington and cousins, Susan Thayer, Ray Sherwood, Fred Sherwood, and Paul Manzenberger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, six siblings, and a daughter, Donna Hinshaw.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 7th at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Pastor Judi Early officiating. Per Betty’s request, no visitation is scheduled but anyone who knew her is welcome to attend.
