BEDFORD – Join the Purdue Extension of Lawrence County on May 23 for the next installment in their Bedford Parks Outdoor Series Program, where individuals will have the chance to learn more about their different backyard composting options.
Heidi Potter, Purdue Extension Educator, will be at the Bedford Community Garden, 416 H St., at 6 p.m. on that evening to discuss different options for homeowners with both large and small spaces.
She will also talk about the do’s and don’ts of composting, the benefits of composting, along with on-site examples of different composing styles.
