Debrah Tolbert, 70, of Mitchell, passed away on May 7, 2023, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital, surrounded by her daughters.
Born on April 2, 1953, she was the daughter of Clyde E. and Mary L. (George) Rayhill. She married Kenneth Wayne Tolbert and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2012.
Debrah worked at Ford/Visteon where she retired. She was a graduate of the Mitchell High School class of 1971. Debrah was a member of the Church of The Nazarene and was later baptized at Tulip St. Christian Church.
Surviving Debrah are two daughters, Lisa Scott of Bedford and Lori Bowles (Chris) of Mitchell; step-son, Russell Tolbert of Brazil, IN; grandchildren, Jacob Ledgerwood, Alyssa Terry, Zachary Bowles, Alex Bowles, Nathaniel Bowles, Kayla Tolbert, and Garrett Tolbert; great-grandchildren, Bella Ledgerwood, Paisley Mandabach, Korbyn Mandabach, and great-granddaughter, Baby Bowles, on the way.
Debrah is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes with Brother Darren Chastain officiating. Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023, as well as from 10:00 a.m. to the service time on Saturday.
