NORTH VERNON – Bedford North Lawrence finished seventh during the Hoosier Hills Conference girls track meet at Jennings County on Tuesday.
The Stars scored 28 points. Floyd Central won the team title with 152 points, followed by New Albany (111.5) and Columbus East (76).
BNL’s Ellie Anderson finished third in the long jump at 15-9, while Kalyn Ritz was third in the pole vault at 7-6. Anderson was also fifth in the high jump (4-8). Mary Batz was sixth in the 400, and Katie Baumgart was sixth in the discus.
New Albany’s Journey Howard won the 100 hurdles (15.16), 300 hurdles (47.92) and high jump (5-2).
The Stars will compete in the boys HHC meet on Thursday at Floyd Central.
