BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Commissioners held a public hearing Tuesday morning for a request to vacate an unimproved street in Eastbrook Estates.
Bradford Dykes owned the property on both sides of the street.
“The road goes nowhere, it just ends,” said Attorney Byron Steele, who represents Dykes. “The road was never improved and Mr. Dykes owns the property on both sides.”
No one spoke for or against the request. The Commissioner voted to suspend the rules and voted to vacate the road.
