ORLEANS – The Orleans Water Works boil advisory that was issued on May 9, 2023, at 9 a.m. has been lifted as of 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2023.
The advisory was issued due to scheduled maintenance in the area of West Jefferson and North 4th Streets.
Fifteen customers were affected by the boil advisory and have been notified via telephone the advisory has been lifted. The advisory remained in place until two consecutive samples passed from sample sites downstream of the work area.
