Janice Marie Williams, 75, of Bloomington, passed away on May 9, 2023, at Westview Nursing
and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford.
Born on June 6, 1947, she was the daughter of Victor Vernon Jones and Dorothy Marie (Wise) Jones. She married Jimmie W. Williams in Indianapolis on August 9, 1973, and he preceded her in death on April 9, 2022.
Janice worked as a Teacher’s Aid for the North Lawrence School System and was a member of Hillcrest Christian Church. Janice enjoyed scrapbooking, bird-watching, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving to cherish Janice’s memory are her son Jason and his wife Rachel, son Jay and his wife Emily, and grandchildren Ella and Rory Williams; brothers, Wayne (Rosa) Jones, Travis (Jeannine) Jones, and Ronald Jones; and sister-in-law, Charlenne Jones.
Preceding Janice in death are her parents; husband; and brother Larry Jones.
Funeral Services will be at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne George Family Funeral Homes with Pastor Charlie Scott officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the service time on Monday also at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel. Janice will be buried at Moffett Cemetery in Milton, KY at Noon on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
