Barbara E. Baugh, 60, of Muncie and formerly of Bedford, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Silver Birch Assisted Living in Muncie, Indiana.
Born August 1, 1962, she was the daughter of Vernon and Betty (Walker) Root. She married David Baugh on May 31, 1996, and he preceded her in death in 2011.
Barbara was a Home Health Aide and a Nurse’s Aide at Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford. She was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School with the class of 1979 and formerly attended the Hillcrest Christian Church.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Barbara is her son, Billy Baugh of Muncie; and her sister, Sherry Rodman of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Betty Root; her husband, David Baugh; one sister, Linda Gayle Root; and her brother-in-law, Ed Rodman.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Pinhook Cemetery in Bedford with Pastor Charlie Scott Officiating.
The Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford has been entrusted with the arrangements for Barbara.
