BEDFORD – On Thursday, May 11th, Lawrence County Officer Andrew Tillett conducted a traffic stop at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Bellback Road that landed the driver behind bars.
The driver, Shawn Dearborn, 45, of Bedford, was driving with a suspended driver’s license.
Dearborn also gave consent to search the vehicle. During this search, a plastic bag containing meth was located in the vehicle.
Officer Tillett arrested Dearborn on charges of possession of meth and driving while his driver’s license was suspended with a prior conviction.
Bedford Police Capt. Chase Hamilton assisted during the traffic stop and investigation.
