Passed-out teen arrested on alcohol charges

BEDFORD – A Bedford teen was arrested after Bedford Police officers responded to Reveres Food & Fuel on Sunday, May 14th after a report of a possibly intoxicated male passed out in a vehicle in the parking lot.

When police arrived at 2:09 a.m. they found 19-year-old Salvador Del Fierro slumped in the driver’s seat of a black truck in the back parking lot.

When officers approached the vehicle they could smell the odor of alcohol. Officers woke Del Fierro who admitted he had drank a few beers in the parking lot of Smokin Jim’s BBQ and had a friend drive him to his truck that he had parked at Revere’s.

In the truck, police found an open empty beer can in the passenger floorboard and a cooler with seven unopened beers inside, along with several empty beer cans in the bed of the truck.

Del Fierro had a blood-alcohol content of 0.063.

Del Fierro was arrested on charges of illegal consumption and illegal possession of alcohol.

A friend of Del Fierro’s arrived on the scene and took possession of Del Fierro’s vehicle.
