SILVERVILLE – Firefighters from the Indian Creek and Huron Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a house fire Sunday morning.
The fire was reported at 1:00 a.m. in the 1000 block of State Road 158. The house was vacant.
When firefighters arrived the home was engulfed in flames. Firefighters went into defensive mode and battled the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Assisting at the scene were the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department and an IU LifeLine ambulance.
