INDIANA – June is Great Outdoors Month, so why not plan on going outside and enjoying nature? There are many health benefits to being outside, plus it can be fun, relaxing, and rewarding.
To encourage Hoosiers to get outside, the Department of Natural Resources is announcing a photo contest just in time for National Nature Photography Day on June 15.
The photo contest will run now until Sunday, June 11. The winning submission will be featured in the Indiana DNR award-winning magazine, Outdoor Indiana.
If you aren’t interested in entering the contest but still want to share your photos enjoying DNR properties, please share them on social media with your DNR property location and the hashtag #GreatOutdoorsINIndiana.
