BEDFORD – Kenton Carter was sworn in Thursday morning as the newest Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department merit deputy by Circuit Court Judge Nathan Nikirk.
Carter is a graduate of ILEA and brings two years of law enforcement experience with him, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.
“His work ethic is well known. Congratulations Deputy Carter. Stay safe and we look forward to a long career serving with you,” the post said.
