JOHNSON CO. — Waverly Park Road just south of Huggin Hollow Road will close early in the morning on Monday, June 5. Access to S.R. 144 from Huggin Hollow Road will be maintained.
Over the course of three weeks, crews will rebuild approximately 200 feet of Waverly Park Road/Old State Road 37.
During the closure, local motorists should follow Waverly Park and Huggin Hollow Roads to access S.R. 144. Commercial truck traffic should follow Waverly Park Road to Waverly Road to Whiteland Road and use the roundabout east of S.R. 37 at Whiteland Road and S.R. 144.
On or after June 7, the temporary traffic signal at Waverly Park Road and S.R. 144 will be removed and the new S.R. 144 roundabout will be operational. All four legs of the roundabout west of I-69 will be opened to traffic, but commercial truck traffic is prohibited from exiting onto Waverly Park Road/Old S.R. 37.
