James “Jim” Leslie Deppert, 69, of Mitchell, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at his residence.
Born March 30, 1954, in Mooresville, he was the son of Charles Benjamin Jr. and Ida “Joann” (Gunnell) Deppert.
Jim graduated from Mooresville High School. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, and doing home improvement and construction.
Surviving are his children, Brandon (Chelsea) Deppert of Atlanta, Georgia, Austin Deppert of Jacksonville, Florida, Leslie Anne Deppert of Punta Gorda, Florida, and James Aaron Deppert of Wellington, Florida; grandson, Nathan Deppert; and sister, Cynthia Bussiere.
His parents preceded him in death.
Cremation has been chosen with burial at a later date.
