MONROE CO. – Bridge pier patching on I-69 NB under Kinser Pike in Monroe County has been postponed. A new start date will be announced.
Original information: Indiana Department of Transportation contractor RAM Construction Services will close lanes of northbound I-69 starting on or after Monday, June 12, to complete bridge pier patching under Kinser Pike in Monroe County.
Lane closures on I-69 NB will be in place near the bridge to allow patched areas to cure. Work is scheduled to continue through Monday, June 19. In the case of inclement weather, patching and lane closures will take place the following week. Traffic on Kinser Pike will not be affected.
The contract was awarded to RAM Construction Services in January for $250,000. The contract also includes two other bridge repair projects. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active construction zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
