Lane restrictions begin June 19 on I-65 in Scott and Jackson Counties

SCOTT/JACKSON CO. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving Inc. plans to begin pavement patching on or after Monday, June 19, on I-65 in Scott and Jackson Counties.

Nightly lane restrictions will take place between Exit 29 (Scottsburg) and Exit 41 (Uniontown). Restrictions are expected to last through the fall, weather permitting.

Northbound restrictions are planned as follows:

  • 7 p.m. Sunday to 8 a.m. Monday
  • 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. Monday through Friday
  • 8 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday
  • 5 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday

Southbound restrictions are planned as follows:

  • 8 p.m. Sunday to 9 a.m. Monday
  • 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday
  • 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday
  • 7 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday

The contract was awarded to E&B Paving in May for $2.3 million. INDOT urges motorists to slow down, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through work zones.
