MORGANTOWN — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor HIS Constructors plans to conduct an overnight closure on Friday, June 16, to switch traffic at the State Road 252 bridge over West Fork Crooked Creek in Morgan County.
The bridge is located just over a mile west of S.R. 135 near Morgantown.
State Road 252 will close at the bridge from 8 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 17. Motorists will then use the eastbound lane for travel, controlled by temporary traffic signals.
The bridge replacement project is expected to be completed this fall.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and consider worker safety when traveling through construction zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
