INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s 34th Annual Awards Dinner on November 14 will feature a familiar face for Hoosier sports fans: Tony Dungy. Dungy will headline an event that will also honor some of the state’s top business leaders and a thriving community.
Dungy is a former head football coach, a 2007 Super Bowl champion with the Indianapolis Colts, and a football television analyst. He is also committed to a variety of charities, including the Dungy Family Foundation. His speech will focus on leading successful teams and responding to adversity in a way that results in an organization’s ability to successfully realize its goals.
The Annual Awards Dinner, presented by Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, will take place at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The ceremony will feature the following statewide honors:
- NextEra Energy Resources Community of the Year
- Dynamic Leader of the Year
- Birch Bayh-Richard Lugar Government Leader of the Year
- Ogletree Deakins Business Leader of the Year
“I couldn’t be more excited to have Coach Dungy as our keynote speaker – to have a guest of such high esteem – and the business community will benefit from his wisdom,” says Indiana Chamber President Kevin Brinegar.
“We’re also very eager to celebrate our award winners who have made such significant contributions to the state,” he adds.
