ELNORA – The Daviess County Fair kicks off on Tuesday, June 27th, at the fairgrounds in Elnora. The fair is June 27 – July 1. There is no entry fee so come out with the family and enjoy an evening or day of fun.
James Gang Amusements opens rides at 6 p.m. every night.
The Fair Board has announced that on Thursday, June 29th, they will sponsor free rides for the first 100 kids at the fair. Pick up your pass(es) at the fair table near the office. You must have your child with you. You will take them to the ticket booth to redeem them for a hand stamp. Tickets will be passed out starting at 6 p.m. until they are gone.
Make sure to come out at and see how one of the legendary monster trucks of all time Bigfoot does in his debut at the Daviess County fair. You can purchase a 2-for-1 pass to get into the Monster Trucks and the Demolition Derby for $25 (adult price only). Does NOT include pit passes.
Big news full throttle monster trucks will be back again this year featuring the world-famous Bigfoot one of the most famous monster trucks of all time will be making his way to the Daviess County fair on Friday, June 30 at 7:30 p.m.
He will be competing against Monkey Business, Funky Monkey, Axman, and Hoosier Daddy. They will be competing in 3 different events. Wheelie contest, Racing, and Free Style.
The Free pit part will start at 5:30 come out early and see the trucks and driver’s up close. There will also be a ride truck so you can take a ride on a real monster truck
Admission for those 13 and over is $20, 12-6 is $10 and those under 5 can attend for free.
Those coming to the fair are reminded to pick up their free ticket for the nightly bicycle giveaway. One boy’s and one girl’s bikes will be given away every night. You must be present to win.
There is also a chance to win “power wheels”. Tickets are $2 each, or six for $10. The drawing will be on Saturday, July 1, at 9 p.m. You need not be present if you win the “power wheels”.

Saturday, June 24
- Community Arts entries are taken from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. – Judging immediately after
- Kids trash pickup sign-ups from 9 a.m. until Noon (ages 5 – 13) Children can earn a one-night ride hand stamp to use any night of the fair. Parents/guardians must stay with their child during trash pickup. Please don’t bring extra children. There is only enough ride stamps for children who sign up to participate.
