BROWNSTOWN – Registration is now open for the 2023 Jackson County Watermelon Festival pageant for Petite Miss, Little Miss, and Miss Jackson County Watermelon Festival.
The Jackson County Watermelon Festival is August 4-5 in Brownstown.
The pageant is open to Jackson County young ladies in these age groups:
- 2023 Petite Miss Jackson County Watermelon Festival (4 to 6 years old)
- 2023 Little Miss Jackson County Watermelon Festival (7 to 9 years old)
- 2023 Miss Jackson County Watermelon Festival (17 to 22 years old)
Petite Miss and Little Miss contestants will be judged in three divisions: Poise, outfit of choice, and onstage question. The winners will receive a $250 cash prize, a crown, a sash, and a special prize package courtesy of the Jackson County Watermelon Festival.
Festival queen contestants will be judged in three divisions: Personal interview, outfit of choice, and evening wear. The queen will be sent to compete in the 2023 Indiana State Festival Association Scholarship Pageant at Greenfield-Central High School (date and time TBA) and will receive a $1,000 cash prize, a crown, a sash, and a special prize package courtesy of the Jackson County Watermelon Festival.
Registration will be open through July 1. The pageant is scheduled for August 3 at 7 p.m. at Heritage Park, at 121 East Walnut Street in Brownstown. To register click here.
