Orange County Historical Society Living History Day at the Farmhouse set for July 8

PAOLI – The Orange County Historical Society is still looking for individuals and/or groups who might be willing to partner with the Society for its upcoming Living History Day at the Lindley House on July 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  

Plans include for a Civil War-era encampment, guided farmhouse tours, period music, a petting zoo, historic farm & heritage displays & more.

The group would welcome anyone who would be interested in setting up on the front lawn area to sell their wares and/or demonstrate such as quilters, woodworkers, leather workers, heirloom plants/garden talk, beekeeping, pioneer toys, games, rag rugs, spinning etc.

The Thomas Elwood Lindley House, located just off the Hwy. 150 West on Willow Creek Rd. in Paoli is restored to reflect the period of the mid-1850s to the 1860s when it was used as a farm home.
