Peggy Joyce Busick, 73, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023, at IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Born February 5, 1950, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Benny Carl and Helen Pauline (Jones) George. She married Larry Keith Busick on June 15, 1968, and he preceded her in death on September 4, 2009.
Peggy was a graduate of Mitchell High School. She worked at Carpenter Body Works and retired from Visteon as a quality control inspector. She enjoyed watching television.
Surviving is her son, Gregory Scott Busick of Mitchell, and grandson, Pedro Fontes of São Paulo, Brazil.
Her parents; husband; son, Brian Keith Busick; and siblings, Joseph George, Rosemary Slaten, and Franklin George, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Daniel Jones officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
