BROWN CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane restrictions for State Road 46 in Brown County.
Beginning on or around Monday, June 26, crews will restrict State Road 46 in Brown County.
This restriction will occur just over seven miles east of State Road 135, near Henderson Creek. During the first week of work, crews will work on the shoulders of the roadway and re-open lanes at night. A small structure replacement project will begin following shoulder work.
During this part of the project, lanes will be restricted 24 hours a day. A temporary traffic signal will manage traffic during this stage of the project.
Work is expected to last through the end of August. All work is dependent on the weather.
