BEDFORD – The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County is seeking to hire a full-time athletic director.
Salary ranges from $35,000 to $41,500 depending on experience. Some benefits include
health, vision, dental, and life insurance, 401K, and paid time off.
The athletic director’s duties include planning, implementing, supervising, and evaluating all programs and activities provided in the program areas of athletics, including, but not limited to, flag/tackle football, basketball, baseball/softball, gymnastics, cheerleading, karate, dodgeball, and volleyball.
The athletic director should demonstrate knowledge of principles related to youth development, leadership development, human resource management, program and service management, facilities management, partnership development, marketing, and public relations.
They must also understand and have knowledge of principles in understanding various athletic and club software applications.
A four-year degree from an accredited college or university is preferred with a minimum of three years of experience preferred in a Boys & Girls Club or similar youth organization including management, supervision, and program development.
