ORLEANS – Orleans will play host to the “Summer of Recovery” event downtown tonight from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in historic Congress Square.
The event is being held in conjunction with Safe Haven Recovery Engagement Center. Come celebrate Indiana’s recovery community and raise awareness to STOP overdose deaths in our state.
Officials anticipate approximately 300 people in attendance. There will be food trucks, a bouncy house for kids, live music, vendors, and guest speakers who share their own experiences with addiction and how their lives have changed.
This event will bring in people from all over the state, including state representatives.
During the event, the streets around Congress Square will be blocked (as they are for the Dogwood Festival).
