La Cross man arrested on felony charge of child exploitation

LAPORTE CO. – On Tuesday, June 27, a La Crosse, Indiana man was arrested on charges of child exploitation as a result of an investigation conducted by Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC). 

After receiving information from the Lafayette Police Department, Indiana State Police ICAC began a yearlong investigation involving a man who was allegedly paying a minor for nude images.  The investigation led authorities to Daniel Orr.

Daniel Orr, 68, La Crosse, was arrested without incident and taken to the LaPorte County Jail. He is being charged with a Level 5 felony count of child exploitation.
