Violation of trespass and a protective order leads to an arrest

MITCHELL – On Saturday, July 1, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department Deputies Kenton Carter and Kinsley Duncan responded to a report of a man violating a protective order in the 100 block of TV Tower Road.

Police say 37-year-old Robert Henderson, of Mitchell, went to a residence where he had a “no trespass” order in place. He then made contact with a female who has an active protective order in place against Henderson.

Officers located Henderson, who had left the residence, a short time later.

He was arrested on charges of trespassing and invasion of privacy.
